On Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 12:30-4:00pm, BCIT will be hosting GUICHON CREEK DAY to celebrate the return of the fish.
“Celebrating waterways in our community.”
As a people focused organization, BCIT recognized Guichon Creek as a place of wellness where faculty, staff, students and members of the community can connect to nature, peace and tranquility during their busy workday. Efforts to restore the Creek to its natural habitat have been ongoing and will continue to be with future daylighting plans on the north side of campus.
GUICHON CREEK DAY will kick off with a Welcome from Elder Patricia Isaac and special guests at the fish ladder behind the Recreation Center. Make sure to visit the Guichon Creek Welcome Table to get your “I love Guichon Creek” sticker and find out more about the day’s activities.
