We have created a directory of some of the fundraising sources that can help your organization access funding for upcoming outdoor recreation initiatives, accessibility programs, trail maintenance, supply purchases, or professional development of your volunteer crew.

Current and upcoming grant opportunities
The Community Park Enhancement Fund provides up to $5,000 to projects that enhance conservation, stewardship, recreation, and visitor experience in parks and protected areas. Projects must take place within or directly support BC Parks. Apply by May 29, 2026.
Arc'Teryx Community Grants range from $10,000 to $50,000 for community-led projects in equitable access, conservation, stewardship, circularity or skills building. To be invited to apply, organizations must be nominated by Arc’Teryx employees. Reach out to your network before the end of May.
BC Hydro provides $5,000 grants to community groups for sustainability and environmental initiatives, and $2,500 grants for safety education workshops and training. Eligible projects may include land and water stewardship initiatives, emergency response and preparedness workshops, and others. Apply by May 31, 2026.
The Drax Community Fund supports grassroots organizations and community-led initiatives in areas where they operate with donations of up to $10,000 in several areas, including nature projects and green spaces. In BC, eligible organizations with projects in Armstrong, Burns Lake, Houston, Lavington, Meadowbank, Princeton, Smithers, Prince Rupert, Prince George can apply. Next deadline is May 31, 2026.
