We are the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC.
Outdoor recreation is essential to life in BC. It supports health, community connection, local economies, stewardship, and quality of life. ORCBC works across the province to strengthen the systems that make responsible outdoor recreation possible.
ORCBC works across BC to:
Advocate for public investment, access, and better outdoor recreation planning.
Convene partners across the outdoor recreation sector to address shared challenges and opportunities.
Support volunteer-led organizations with tools, research, funding information, and practical resources.
Promote responsible recreation, stewardship, inclusion, and healthy outdoor places.
Build the case for outdoor recreation as essential to BC’s health, economy, communities, and environment.

Thank you to all of our supporters!
Our members, volunteers, funders, and donors make it possible for us to help ensure that all British Columbians have opportunities to engage in enjoyable, quality outdoor recreation experiences. Thank you for that. We’re doing good work and we couldn’t do it without you.
