On June 1st, 2024, the Saturna Island Parks & Recreation Commission (SIPRC) invites you to discover the newly-created John Money Watershed Park. This beautiful new park on Harris Road features wetland, alder groves, and abundant wildlife. Join us starting at 1:00 pm for a community picnic. Bring a bag lunch, hat, and hiking shoes. After lunch, you may wish to join a group hike to explore potential routes for new hiking trails through the area. Please note that there is limited parking next to Money Lake, so car pooling is recommended.
